Overview
Python does not have a random() function to make a random number, but does have a built-in module called random that can be used to make random numbers.
The following first imports the random module and then prints a random number between 1 and 9 (the minimum number is inclusive, but the maximum is NOT inclusive).

- The most recent major version of Python is Python 3; however, Python 2 is still in use and quite popular, although not being updated with anything other than security updates
- Python uses new lines to complete a command, as opposed to other programming languages which often use semicolons or parentheses
- Python relies on indentation, using whitespace to define scope, such as the scope of loops, functions, and classes; other programming languages often use curly-brackets for this purpose
- Python string methods return new values, and DO NOT change the original string
