Quick Reference

The SQL Server SESSIONPROPERTY() function returns the session settings for a specified option.

SELECT SESSIONPROPERTY('ANSI_NULLS');

Output

// returns all settings for the current SQL Server session

Syntax

SESSIONPROPERTY(option)

Parameters

SQL Notes:

  • Any work being done to modify the structure of a database or delete tables or the the database itself should only be done after making a recent backup
