Quick Reference
The SQL Server ROUND() function rounds a number to a specified number of decimal places.
SELECT ROUND(123.456, 2) AS Rounded;
Output
Rounded
123.460
Syntax
ROUND(number, decimals, operation)
Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
number | The number to be rounded (required) |
decimals | The number of decimal places to round number to (required) |
operation | If 0 (default), it rounds the result to the number of decimals; if a value other than 0, it truncates the result to the number of decimals |
