The SQL Server REPLICATE() function repeats a specified string a specified number of times.

SELECT REPLICATE('1SMARTchicken ', 5);

Output

1SMARTchicken 1SMARTchicken 1SMARTchicken 1SMARTchicken 1SMARTchicken

Syntax

REPLICATE(string, integer)

SQL Notes:

  • Any work being done to modify the structure of a database or delete tables or the the database itself should only be done after making a recent backup
