Quick Reference

The SQL Server CAST() function converts a value of any type into a specified datatype.

SELECT CAST(109.45 AS int);

Output

109

Syntax

CAST(expression AS datatype(length))

(length)The length of the resulting data type (for char, varchar, nchar, nvarchar, binary and varbinary)
