The MySQL ROUND() function rounds a number to a specified number of decimal places.

SELECT ROUND(55.375, 2);

Output

ROUND(55.375, 2)
55.38

Syntax

ROUND(number, decimals)

Parameters

Parameter	Description
number	The number to be rounded (required)
decimals	The number of decimal places to round number to; if omitted, it returns the integer with no decimals

SQL Notes:

Any work being done to modify the structure of a database or delete tables or the the database itself should only be done after making a recent backup
