Quick Reference

The MySQL DATE_ADD() function adds a time/date interval to a date and then returns the date.

The following adds 3 days to the specified date.

SELECT DATE_ADD('2023-04-15', INTERVAL 3 DAY);

Output

DATE_ADD('2023-04-15', INTERVAL 3 DAY)
2023-04-18

Syntax

DATE_ADD(date, INTERVAL value addunit)

Parameters
