Quick Reference

The MySQL ATAN() function returns the arc tangent of one or two numbers.

Example 1:

SELECT ATAN(3);

Example 2:

SELECT ATAN(2, 5);

Output

Example 1:

ATAN(3)
1.2490457723982544

Example 2:

ATAN(2, 5)
0.3805063771123649

Syntax

ATAN(number)

// or

ATAN(a, b)
