Quick Reference
The DISTINCT keyword returns only different values (no two values the same) in the result set.
The following selects only the DISTINCT values from the country column in the Customers table (i.e., if there are multiple customers with the country, Canada, it will only appear once in the output set).
SELECT DISTINCT country FROM Customers;SQL Notes:
- Any work being done to modify the structure of a database or delete tables or the the database itself should only be done after making a recent backup
