Quick Reference
The PHP cal_to_jd() function converts a date in a specified calendar to Julian Day Count.

cal_to_jd(calendar, month, day, year)
Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
calendar | Specifies the calendar to convert from (required)
|
month | Specifies the month as a number (required) |
day | Specifies the day as a number (required) |
year | Specifies the year as a number (required) |
PHP Notes:
- When using PHP, single or double quotation marks are acceptable and work identically to one another; choose whichever you prefer, and stay consistent
- Arrays count starting from zero NOT one; so item 1 is position [0], item 2 is position [1], and item 3 is position [2] … and so on
