The Date setMinutes() method sets the minutes (0 to 59) of a Date object, and can also be used to set the seconds and milliseconds.

Syntax

Date.setMinutes(min, sec, millisec)

Parameters

Value	Description
min	The Minutes (0 to 59) (required) Other values: -1 gives the last minute of the previous hour 60 gives the first minute of the next hour
sec	The seconds (0 to 59) Other values: -1 gives the last second of the previous minute 60 gives the first second of the next minute
millisec	The milliseconds (0 to 999) Other values: -1 gives the last millisecond of the previous second 1000 gives the first millisecond of the next second

JavaScript Notes:

When using JavaScript, single or double quotation marks are acceptable and work identically to one another; choose whichever you prefer, and stay consistent
JavaScript is a case-sensitive language; firstName is NOT the same as firstname
Arrays count starting from zero NOT one; so item 1 is position [0], item 2 is position [1], and item 3 is position [2] … and so on
JavaScript variables must begin with a letter, $, or _
JavaScript variables are case sensitive (x is not the same as X)
