The padding property sets the padding for an element, and is a shorthand property for:

/* top, right, bottom, left padding */
div {
    padding: 25px 25px 10px 5px;
}
This element (text) has various padding on all four sides
/* top, right and left, bottom padding */
div {
    padding: 25px 25px 10px;
}
This element (text) has various padding on all four sides
/* top and bottom, left and right padding */

    padding: 10px 25px;

These are the allowed values.

The HTML element can also be styled using JavaScript and the element’s id.
