The animation property is a shorthand property for all the other properties a CSS animation can be given.

    animation: my_animation 7s infinite;
}

Note

The animation-duration property must always be specified or it will be assumed to be 0 and never play.

animation-directionSpecifies whether or not the animation should play in reverse on alternate cycles
animation-fill-modeSpecifies what values are applied by the animation outside the time it is executing
animation-play-stateSpecifies whether the animation is running or paused
initialSets this property to its default value
inheritInherits this property from its parent element

Using JavaScript

The HTML element can also be styled using JavaScript and the element’s id.
