Quick Reference
The opacity property describes the transparency level, where 1 is opaque and 0 is transparent. Any value in between will give partial transparency. The following is 50% transparent.

Note
Opacity will affect anything within the element the property is applied to. For instance, as shown in the above example, if you have text inside an element with the opacity set low, the text opacity will also be affected.

Using JavaScript
The HTML element can also be styled using JavaScript and the element’s id.
