Quick Reference

The attr() function returns the value of an attribute of the selected element, and is sometimes used to show the value of the href attribute after a link.

<a href="www.duckduckgo.com">DuckDuckGo</a>
a::after {
    content: " ("attr(href)")";
}

Output:

DuckDuckGo (www.duckduckgo.com)

attr(attribute-name)
